Our Services

Advanced Imaging

Advanced imaging plays a crucial role in urology, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary conditions. X-rays offer a quick and non-invasive evaluation of kidney stones and structural abnormalities. Computed Tomography (CT) provides detailed 3D images, enabling precise visualization of tumors, calculi, and complex anatomical structures. Ultrasound imaging aids in real-time monitoring, guiding biopsies and procedures. These modalities enhance urological care and improve patient outcomes.

Bladder Health

Bladder health is crucial for overall well-being. Blood in urine, known as hematuria, can indicate various underlying conditions, such as infection, kidney stones, or bladder cancer. Urinary diversion procedures redirect urine flow after bladder removal. Urinary retention, the inability to fully empty the bladder, can cause discomfort and require medical intervention. Adult urinary tract infections, if left untreated, can lead to complications and require prompt treatment with antibiotics. Regular check-ups and prompt management promote optimal bladder health.

Men’s Health

Men's health encompasses a range of conditions and concerns. Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) causes prostate enlargement, leading to urinary symptoms. Erectile Dysfunction affects sexual function and can have various underlying causes. Vasectomies are a common form of male contraception. Low testosterone levels can impact energy, mood, and sexual health. Regular screenings and open discussions are essential for maintaining optimal men's health.

Women’s Health

Women's health encompasses various aspects specific to their well-being. Urogynecology focuses on pelvic floor disorders like bladder prolapse and stress urinary incontinence. Overactive bladder and interstitial cystitis cause urinary symptoms and discomfort. Advanced therapies like Axonics Therapy and Medtronic InterStim Therapy offer innovative solutions for urinary disorders, improving quality of life. Regular check-ups and open communication are vital for women's overall health.

Urologic Cancers

Urologic cancers, including bladder, kidney, and prostate cancer, pose significant health challenges. Bladder cancer is often linked to smoking and presents with blood in the urine. Kidney cancer may cause flank pain and renal dysfunction. Prostate cancer affects men and can lead to urinary symptoms. Early detection and personalized treatment approaches are crucial in managing urologic cancers effectively.

Pediatric Health

Pediatric health encompasses various aspects of children's well-being. Circumcision, a common procedure, involves the removal of the foreskin. Child urinary infections can occur and require prompt diagnosis and treatment. Bedwetting, a common issue, may be caused by various factors and often resolves with time. Regular check-ups and open communication are essential for promoting optimal child health.

Kidneys

Kidney health is crucial for overall well-being. Kidney disease and failure can result from various factors, including diabetes and high blood pressure. Kidney stones are formed when minerals crystallize in the kidneys, causing severe pain. Kidney cysts, fluid-filled sacs, may be benign or require medical intervention. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and regular check-ups are key to preserving kidney health.

Customer Reviews

"For as long as I can remember, I have been helping take care of my mom through Cervical Cancer & the long lasting effects of radiation. We saw Dr. Niu at his facility because of bladder and urinary tract issues. My mom normally prefers seeing female Drs, but we couldn't have been happier with our experience with Dr. Niu. He was professional, calming, thorough, knowledgeable and warm hearted. He made her feel like a person again and spoke in a way we could both understand. It takes a fine art to heal someone's ailments and their negative thoughts & Dr. Niu did just that. I would recommend him to anyone needing help. The was very friendly and made my mom feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation. I would recommend the facility as well." - Ashley H.

"Having 4 kidney stents during my pregnancy due to kidney stones was not ideal and made it very difficult to accomplish every day tasks at times due to constant aches / pains. With stents and kidney stones I also experienced UTIs (at times requiring overnight stays at the hospital for iv antibiotics). Although my pregnancy was difficult - Dr. Desouza, Christine Lyons and their team were always there when I needed them. They were always attentive to my health as well as the baby. If I was experiencing issues I was seen right away. The team followed up with me after every appointment and hospital stay. I always feel welcomed in the office and all staff are very personable. Amazing group would highly recommended them to anyone!" - Britley K.

"Living with a leaking bladder is one of the worst experiences in my life. Not only does it slow you down on physical activity it also restricts so many things. I had been to other doctors about this and never went back for that 2nd appt. I wasn't comfortable enough to do it. My first appt with Dr. Mahal was great. He didn't make me feel like another prolapsed bladder. I really like him. Went off and got the surgery and it has been by far the best thing I have ever done. Two weeks into the new bladder placement and I am a new woman! I can't thank him enough and everyone that was involved. Life is great!" - Taricia E.

"My initial consultation and surgery were both very good. No wait at all for either one. Everyone from admitting, billing, nursing and Dr. Horgan were so nice and professional. I loved Dr. Horgan's sense of Humor." - J B
